Reporting
UpdateEXPERT Premium software deployment solution allows you to generate consolidated reports that include data from all your master agents through the centralized management console, at no extra charge. In addition, improved reporting includes more in-depth views and data as well as a wide range of built-in templates. Or, you can easily customize reports to include only the fields you need.
Here is a description of each available report:
Customize Report Formats
Use this command to create new, customized report formats, to open formats for editing, to delete formats, to import formats from a previous UpdateEXPERT report, and to export saved formats.
Machine Info Report
This command runs the Machine Info Report and displays the results in the Browser pane.
This report lists each domain that contains managed machines. For each domain the managed machines are listed in alphabetical order. For each machine the operating system, service pack, and all updates that are installed on the machine are listed. The corresponding Microsoft Knowledge Base Article number is shown next to each update, as well as the date that each machine was last queried, and the date/time that each update was installed.
Conformance Report
This command runs the Conformance Report and displays the results in the Browser pane.
The report segregates machines into conforming and non-conforming groups. The conforming machines have all applicable required updates installed. Non-conforming machines have some required updates missing. This report lists, by domain, the operating system, service pack, and required updates that are installed on a machine.
Errors Report
This command runs the Errors Report and displays the results in the Browser pane.
This report lists, by domain, any UpdateEXPERT system errors that occurred while using the program. Errors are put in order of Error Number. The report includes information about how to avoid these errors in the future.
Deployment Report
This command runs the Deployment Report and displays the results in the Browser pane.
This report lists, by machine, the updates and service packs that have been installed on each managed machine. The report shows the status of each install as well as the start time and stop time.
Validation Report
This command runs the Validation Report and displays the results in the Browser pane.
Note: The Validation report only reports validation error information. It does not show successful validation activity.
Report | Detection Errors Report
This command runs the Detection Errors Report and displays the results in the Browser pane. This report shows the errors encountered during query attempts. This report lists, by domain, the machine, update name, and reason why UpdateEXPERT was unable to obtain enough information to determine if the update was installed.
